Roger Wolcott Sperry was an American neuropsychologist, neurobiologist, cognitive neuroscientist,
and Nobel laureate who, together with David Hunter Hubel and Torsten Nils Wiesel,
won the 1981 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine for his work with split-brain research.
