Otto Fritz Meyerhof was a German physician and biochemist.
He studied medicine in Berlin, Strasbourg and Heidelberg.
In 1922, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine, with
Archibald Vivian Hill,
for his work on muscle metabolism, including glycolysis.
