Urania Berlin

Urania is a scientific society founded in Berlin in 1888. Its aim is to communicate the most recent scientific findings to the broad public.
The Urania observatory was equipped with a 12-inch-refractor in 1889. The first astronomer der Urania-Sternwarte was Friedrich Simon Archenhold since 1889.
